«ENERGIA.TEC 2022» will be full of surprises!

Tens of thousands of visitors, exhibitors and participants to the 3rd International “Elec.Tec” promised to meet again in 2022. “Elec.Tec” has been well established as an institution dedicated to promoting every single aspect of the industry. 

The 3rd International “Elec.Tec” took place between 21-24 of February at MEC Exhibition Center. Participants were enhanced and the congress’s content was far more consistent and up-to-date. In addition, tens of thousands of visitors from both Greece and abroad visited the Expo.

The most specialized Expo on electronic equipment, lighting and security system met everyone’s expectations. Our stands were full, exhibitors covered every single square meter of MEC Exhibition Center, presenting innovative solutions, products and services.  

Equally impressive has been the participation of Educational Institutions, companies and agencies to the 3rd Elec.tec Forum. Present day issues were debated, discussed, examined and contested. 

Politicians, businessmen and representatives of various agencies and institutions attended the official opening of Elec.Tec.

Once again, the official opening of the Exhibition was bright and imposing. Politicians, businessmen and representatives of the market attended.

Speeches were made by Evaggelos Liakos MP on behalf of the governing New Democracy (ND) party, Michalis Stavrou on behalf of SYRIZA Opposition Party, Zefi Dimadamas deputy Spokesperson of KINAL, George Patoulis Attica’s Regional Governor, Notis Marias former MEP and Professor at the University of Crete, George Kabbadas president of the Hellenic Confederation of Professionals, Craftsmen and Merchants (GSEVE), Kostas Damigos 1st Vice-President of the Athenian Chamber of Craftsmen (ΒΕΑ), Theodoros Aggourakis president of the Panhellenic Federation of Electricians and Contractors Unions (ΠΟΣΕΗ), Antonis Alibertis president of the Union of Greek Producers of Electronic Equipment (ΣΕΠΗΥ), George Vlassopoulos president of the Panhellenic Federation for Elevator Installers and Maintenance Technicians (ΠΟΒΕΣΑ) and George Kisandrakis on behalf of the Panhellenic Union of Retired Electricians.

The market’s representatives and agencies wholly endorsed Elec.tec Forum

Electronic equipment, lighting and security systems community appeared more united than ever at the Elec.tec Forum

Events organized by the Panhellenic Federation of Electrical Contractors Associations were successful, reconfirming Elec.tec’s role as the paramount meeting point of the industry.

The Panhellenic Federation set up three very important events, where scientists and key persons from Greece and abroad attended. 

Firstly, the «Greek Forum for the Security of Switch Cabinets and the power transition of buildings» (click here to watch the event), secondly the workshop concerning the «Perspectives of very small and small businesses of contractors in the post-recession Greece». 

Last but not least, the two informative events addressing pupils on how to safely use the electronic power and students on the challenges of being an electrician.

Of paramount importance was the attendance of representatives on behalf of the Association of Greek Electrical Manufacturers. The Union picked Elec.Tec for its central event «Presentation of the Greek brand of the Association». Also, the Association staged a fancy and festive ceremony at its stand to honour the Greek New Year’s tradition of the “pita”.

Elec.Tec forum hosted a dazzling event about lighting 

The brightest event about lighting also took place at the Elec.tec Forum, stunning those who attended. 

Dr George Fatseas, Architect NTUA, MSc UCL Environmental Design Bartlett, PhD UCL Daylight coordinated a congress named «Is there a future to lighting design microcosmos?» (click here to watch the event).

National Technical University of Athens (NTUA) event

NTUA’s School of Electrical and Computer Engineering hosted an event titled «Modern technologies in electricity». Scientists with the Center for Renewable Energy Sources and Saving, the Testing Research and Standards Center of the Public Power Corporation and the Independent Power Transmission Operator also attended.

Among the highlights of the event was the award given by the Testing Research and Standards Center to Prometheus Group of NTUA’s School of Electrical and Computer Engineering, for their electric race car. An award was also given to the Accredited Lab of High Voltage, for its contribution to electrical and electronic equipment certification.

Hellas Lab

Hellas Lab hosted a seminar on: «Electronic Equipment Certification in accordance with the EU directives».

Distinguished scientists attended representing the Hellenic Accreditation System (ESYD), the National Quality Infrastructure System (NQIS), the Hellenic Telecommunications and Post Commission, LABOR, ΕΜC HELLAS, NTUA’S High Voltage Laboratory and INTRACOM Telecom. 

Turn out was beyond expectations
